Introducing… Jenner class!

Jenner is our Year 3 class at Reynolds Academy.

The class name is inspired by Edward Jenner, who persevered and was resilient when people were against him.

Edward Jenner had the courage to try something new and was the first to set up a vaccination clinic in his garden.

Ava said: "Edward Jenner was a scientist who practiced vaccinations in a little hut!"

Edward said: "I'm in Jenner, named after the person who cured small pox with cow pox."

Our class teacher is Mrs Edwards. Samuel said: "Science is my favourite subject and our teacher is amazing!"

Edward said: "My favourite subject is History. I'm in Jenner, named after the person who cured small pox with cow pox."

Rowan said: "I like music because I like singing."

Inayah said: "PE makes me smile."

Each class at Reynolds Academy is named after an inspirational person. Throughout the school year, we will be introducing each class to you to explain why we chose this inspirational person and what we do in our lessons.
